Reflection on Today’s Verse
Fear is a natural human emotion, but God calls us to trust in Him rather than be ruled by it. Psalm 27:1 reassures us that God is our light, salvation, and stronghold. When He is with us, there is nothing to fear.
Life presents many challenges—uncertainty, difficulties, and struggles—but when we lean on God, we find strength. Just as light drives away darkness, God’s presence removes fear from our hearts. He is our protector, our guide, and the source of our confidence.
If you are facing fears today, remember: God is with you. He is your light in the darkness, your salvation in trouble, and your stronghold in weakness.
Personal Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being my light and salvation. When fear tries to overtake me, remind me that You are my stronghold. Strengthen my faith so that I may trust in Your protection. Fill me with courage and peace, knowing that You are always with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
