Psalm 23:1 (KJV) — Today’s Verse for February 12, 2025 Wednesday

Spread the love

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

— Psalm 23:1 (KJV)

Reflection on Today’s Verse

Psalm 23:1 is one of the most comforting verses in the Bible. It paints a picture of God as a caring and protective shepherd who provides for all our needs. Just as a shepherd takes care of his sheep—guiding them, feeding them, and keeping them safe—God does the same for us.

The phrase “I shall not want” means that with God, we lack nothing essential. He knows what we need before we even ask. Sometimes, we worry about the future or feel that something is missing in our lives. But today, let this verse remind you: God is enough. He will take care of you, provide for you, and lead you to peace.

Personal Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being my shepherd and for always providing for me. When I feel lost, guide me. When I feel anxious, remind me that I lack nothing in You. Help me to trust You completely, knowing that You will always take care of me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
