“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28 (NIV)
Reflection on Today’s Verse
Life can be exhausting. The weight of stress, anxiety, and daily struggles can leave us feeling drained. But Jesus offers us rest—not just physical rest, but deep, soul-refreshing peace.
This verse is an invitation from Jesus Himself. He does not say, “Fix yourself first, then come to me.” Instead, He says, “Come as you are.” Whether you’re feeling tired, discouraged, or overwhelmed, Jesus welcomes you with open arms.
True rest is not found in success, money, or temporary escapes—it is found in Christ alone. When we surrender our burdens to Him, He replaces them with His peace and strength.
Today, will you bring your burdens to Jesus? He is ready to carry them for you.
Personal Prayer
Dear Lord,
I come to You with all my worries and burdens. Life feels heavy at times, but I trust in Your promise to give me rest. Help me to surrender my struggles to You and find peace in Your presence. Thank You for Your love and care. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
