“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
— Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
Reflection on Today’s Verse
Many of us worry about our daily needs—finances, relationships, health, and the future. But Jesus reminds us that when we seek God first, everything else will fall into place.
This verse isn’t about ignoring responsibilities; rather, it’s about aligning our priorities. When God’s kingdom is at the center of our lives, He takes care of our needs. Instead of stressing over what we lack, we should trust in God’s provision and live according to His righteousness.
Are you placing God first in your decisions today? When we prioritize Him, He ensures we lack nothing.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Help me to seek You above all else. Let my heart desire Your kingdom more than anything in this world. I trust that You will provide for my needs as I walk in faith and righteousness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
