“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
— Psalm 23:1 (KJV)
Reflection on Today’s Verse
This verse from Psalm 23 highlights one of the most comforting aspects of God’s character—His role as our Shepherd. A shepherd guides, nurtures, and protects his sheep, ensuring they lack nothing. In the same way, God lovingly provides for our needs—both physical and spiritual. In times of difficulty, this verse reminds us that we can rest in God’s sufficiency, trusting that He will meet every need we have. When we place our trust in Him, we can live with peace and confidence, knowing that He is always guiding us, even through life’s darkest valleys.
